Ajit Pawar gets a Warm Welcome in NCP MLAs Meet:- Devendra Fadnavis left Maharashtra in deep shock after he took oath as the new Chief Minister of the state. He took the support of NCP Leader Ajit Pawar to form the government. But soon, Ajit Pawar had to withdraw his support and with nothing much to do, Devendra Fadnavis submitted his resignation. This is a strategy from NCP Chief Sharad Pawar said many. Finally, Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress joined hands as an alliance to form the government in the state. Uddhav Thackeray will take oath as the new Chief Minister of the state tomorrow.
Ajit Pawar is back to NCP and he attended the meeting conducted today in which all the NCP MLAs attended. "I was with NCP and will stay in NCP. Am I expelled from the party? Nothing of such sorts happened till date" said Ajit Pawar. There are talks that six ministers will take oath along with Uddhav Thackeray tomorrow. The Bombay High Court raised security concerns over the swearing-in ceremony of Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray.
Out of the 288-member house, two MLAs Sudhir Mungantiwar from BJP and Devendra Bhuyar from SP did not take oath today. The Speaker of the house will be elected this weekend. Senior Congress leaders met Sharad Pawar today to discuss about the portfolios.
