JNU Violence: Protestors Evicted from Gateway of India:- After unpredictable attacks in JNU on Sunday, there were protests against the country. Several protestors gathered at the Gateway of India, Mumbai. The cops evicted the protestors from the Gateway of India in South Mumbai today morning as the roads were getting blocked. The tourists and the common public have been facing problems because of these protests. The cops appealed all the protestors to shift but they did not listen. It is then, they were relocated to Azad Maidan near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Sangramsingh Nishandar said some of them did not listen and hence they are relocated to Azad Maidan. All the protestors who gathered at Gateway of India demanded action against all those who triggered violence in JNU. Over 34 students were injured in the violence on Sunday in JNU. With tambourines and guitars in their hands and songs of revolution on their lips, people staged a silent protest at the Gateway of India from yesterday midnight.
