Bharat Bandh: Banking Services Hit Badly:- The trade unions across the country called for a nationwide strike today. Over 25 crore people are on the roads protesting against the Centre's 'anti-people policies'. The Labour Unions are on the roads protesting for various demands. The banking services are completely hit because of the Bharat Bandh. Trade union Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) will not be taking part in the strike. The protestors are demanding Centre to drop the labour reforms. They want 44 labour laws into four codes including wages, social security and industrial relations.

All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee (AIKSCC) which comprises about 250 farmers' organisations has also announced to observe 'Grameen Bharat Bandh' today. Several governments supported the Bharat Bandh and wanted the Centre to rethink about the demands. Most of the banks in Telangana are closed but most of the shops, schools and business establishments are open. In Rajasthan, Banking and roadways services were said to be partially affected. Most of the cities from the country witnessed massive protests on the roads.
