JD Lakshmi Narayana Quits Janasena: CBI Ex-Joint Director VV Lakshmi Narayana wished to serve the people of Andhra Pradesh after which he took retirement from his services and joined politics. Impressed with the policies of Pawan Kalyan, he joined Janasena and contested from Vizag Parliament constituency. In a shocking move, Lakshmi Narayana submitted his resignation blaming Pawan Kalyan for the move. He said that Pawan Kalyan promised to stay focused and active in politics but he signed films. This left him depressed and Lakshmi Narayana submitted his resignation. Lakshmi Narayana penned a letter of resignation explaining the reason.

Lakshmi Narayana was not too much active after the polls though he participated in limited party meetings. It is heard that Lakshmi Narayana was not invited for the crucial party meetings which left him disturbed. He was unhappy with the party and citing Pawan's film reentry, Lakshmi Narayana submitted his resignation for the party. Lakshmi Narayana said that he would stay active and connected to the people. Lakshmi Narayana initially toured across Andhra Pradesh and wanted to float his own party. But he joined Janasena and he decided to quit the party now.
