Breaking: LPG Cylinder Price Increased By Rs 144.5:- The common man's hurdles are not here to stop any time soon. The price per cylinder of LPG is increased by Rs 144.5 due to the spurt in the global rates of the fuel. To make the domestic users comfortable, the government decided to double the subsidy so that the price per cylinder remains unchanged. The price of 14.2 kg cylinder of LPG got increased from Rs 714 to Rs 858.50. This is the highest rate of LPG cylinder in the country since January 2014 during which the price went up to Rs 1241 in the country.

Every LPG user is entitled to buy 12 cylinders per year at this price. The subsidy has been increased from Rs 153.86 to Rs 291.48 as per the officials. For all the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries, the subsidy has been increased from Rs 174.86 to Rs 312.48. After deducting the subsidy, the cylinder would be costing Rs 567.02 for domestic users and Rs 546.02 for PMUY users. Over 8 crores women are given LPG connections under PMUY. The normal LPG rates are revised every month but this time it got delayed by two weeks.
