Trump Lauds Narendra Modi, Calls Him His Best Friend:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made sure that his friend and US President Donald Trump receives a warm welcome. Donald Trump and Melania Trump arrived in India today and the duo planned to discuss several things to strengthen the bond between them. Modi welcomed Trump with a hug at Ahmedabad airport. They travelled in a 22-km-long roadshow from the airport to the Sabarmati Ashram. After this, Trump inaugurated the Motera stadium and addressed the crowds.

“Namaste, it is a great honour for me to be here" said Trump during this speech. He thanked everyone for their warm welcome. "Modi is an exceptional leader who dedicated his life for the nation. He works day and night for India. USA will be a faithful friend for India. The country's poverty will vanish soon. We will seal defence deals which are worth 3 billion USD. USA will soon turn the first premium defence partner for India" said Trump during his speech.
