After Violence, 5 Metro Stations in Delhi to Remain Closed

After Violence, 5 Metro Stations in Delhi to Remain Closed:- The CAA protests in the North-eastern part of New Delhi triggered huge violence which killed five people yesterday. With the violence, 144 section has been imposed and five metro stations in the region will remain closed today. The final call on their re-open will be taken soon after the situations will be observed today. Jaffrabad, Maujpur-Babarpur, Gokulpuri, Johri Enclave and Shiv Vihar stations on the Pink Line Metro be closed for the day. All the trains will be terminated at Welcome Metro Station.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation tweeted saying "Jaffrabad, Maujpur-Babarpur, Gokulpuri, Johri Enclave and Shiv Vihar remain closed. Trains are being terminated at Welcome metro station". Violence triggered in various parts of the region after which the Delhi Metro got alerted. US President Donald Trump is currently in New Delhi and special forces are deployed all over. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted to make sure that no unexpected incident takes place during Trump's visit.
