Madhya Pradesh Crisis: BJP Moves To Supreme Court:- After 22 MLAs from the ruling Congress party submitted their resignation, the Kamal Nath government fell in minority. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) moved to Supreme Court about the floor test to be conducted in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly. 10 MLAs filed a plea against MP Government to conduct a floor test. The Supreme Court is expected to hear the plea on Tuesday about the floor test in Assembly.

Madhya Pradesh Assembly was adjourned till March 26th and the budget sessions were pushed. Governor Lalji Tandon addressed the house to follow the rules as per the constitution. After the continuous uproar in the house by Congress and BJP legislatures, the house was adjourned. Shivraj Singh Chouhan requested the Speaker NP Prajapati to conduct a floor test but the Speaker did not proceed with the floor test. BJP wants Kamal Nath to submit his resignation as Congress lacks majority.

Six out of the 22 resignations are accepted so far. Congress said that they are not afraid of the floor test and left the decision completely to the Speaker.
