YS Jagan Just Bothered About Local Body Polls:- The coronavirus is shaking the globe and the Centre issued an ultimatum for the closure of schools, educational institutions, multiplexes and shopping malls with immediate effect. With all the states implementing the rule, Andhra Pradesh is one state which is not much concerned or bothered about the call. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is a frustrated man after the local body polls in the state are pushed. He made some sensational comments that coronavirus in the state is in very much control and he wishes to complete the elections of local bodies before this month-end.
AP Government recently approached the Supreme Court about the postponement of the local body polls. The opposition parties say that the ruling party leaders made all the arrangements for the local body polls and they are very much disappointed with the postponement. The recent attacks on TDP leaders brought enough amount of sympathy. One wonders why YS Jagan is so keen on conducting local body polls in this crisis when coronavirus is all over. Only Jagan and his party leaders know the real reason.
