Narendra Modi To Interact With CMs To Discuss The Extension Of Lockdown:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a lockdown till April 14th and there are talks that the lockdown will be extended for two or three weeks more. Narendra Modi has been discussing about this with the Health officials from the past couple of days. Most of the Chief Ministers of Indian states wanted the lockdown to be extended. Narendra Modi will interact with Chief Ministers through a video conference once again today before he makes the big announcement tomorrow. The Centre is in plans to extend the lockdown for three more weeks. There are also talks that new restrictions will be imposed on the hot spots where the virus is fast spreading.

Odisha and Punjab Chief Ministers already extended the lockdown till the end of this month. The Chief Ministers of Telangana, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka already expressed their view of lockdown extension. Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Puducherry too are in talks to support lockdown. The extension of lockdown is the only way to control or prevent the spread of coronavirus in the country. The number of positive cases in the country crossed 7000 and 206 people passed away till date as per the reports. The Union health minister, Harsh Vardhan met the Health officials to discuss the steps to be taken.
