Andhra Pradesh Imports One Lakh Rapid Test Kits For Coronavirus:- Andhra Pradesh stood last in the list of positive coronavirus cases but they have seen a huge rise from the past one week. The total number of positive cases in the state reached 572. 11 out of the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh are named as the red zones by the Centre and they are asked to stay under lockdown till May 3rd. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy launched COVID-19 rapid test kits today which can fetch the results in just ten minutes. One lakh rapid test kits are imported from South Korea through a special flight and they delivered to the state today. 38 new cases are registered in the state yesterday. Kurnool and Guntur districts are on the top with 126 cases.

With the rapid test kits arriving, massive tests will be conducted across the state starting from today. With the results arriving in just ten minutes, AP government decided to conduct tests across the state and send the positive infected people to quarantine centers in the state. A total number of 14 people lost their lives in Andhra Pradesh due to coronavirus. 35 people got cured and they are discharged from the hospital to date. 523 people are being treated in various hospitals in the state after they are tested positive with coronavirus. The government of Andhra Pradesh announced Rs 2000 for every person who completed their quarantine in the state. This amount will be given to procure nutritious food.
