YS Jagan Announces Rs 5000 Aid For Pastors, Imams And Priests:- The country is under strict lockdown because of the coronavirus spread. The cases of coronavirus are fast spreading in all the states. The public and private sectors of the country are asked to remain shut. All the public, private transports along with other businesses, temples, churches, mosques, education sectors and others came to a halt. The government of Andhra Pradesh announced financial aid for priests, imams, pastors who are working in temples, churches and mosques. AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy announced a financial aid of Rs 5000 for all tese.
The Ministry of Endowments, Christian Minority Corporation and Waqf Board are instructed to provide the assistance for the all the above persons who fall in the mentioned category. The announced Rs 5000 would be deposited directly into their bank accounts who are eligible for the scheme. All those who receive salary from the government and other religious organizations will not fall under this category and they would be provided any financial assistance. YS Jagan announced this during a video conference with the Muslim organizations, District Collectors and other officials. The total number of positive cases of coronavirus crossed 700 in Andhra Pradesh.
