Delhi Govt Conducts Plasma Therapy:- Delhi government conducted a plasma treatment on four coronavirus patients who are admitted in Lok Nayak Hospital said Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The results of the trial have been quite encouraging said Arvind Kejriwal. He said that the trial has been done on serious patients admitted in the hospital. Arvind Kejriwal requested the people who recovered from the coronavirus to come forward to donate the plasma to save the lives of the people. Arvind Kejriwal promised that he would make all the needed arrangements for the travel for all these people.
Dr SK Sarin said that the therapy was used in 1901 for Diptheria. The doctors of the Lok Nayak Hospital also tested three other patients who can be used for the therapy. The lack of plasma donors turned out to be a huge problem and all those who recovered in the past three weeks can be donors. Around 808 people got recovered from coronavirus in the past three weeks in Delhi. Sarin said that there are 24 patients who can be benefited from the therapy. 23 coronavirus patients are in ICU currently and 8 patients are on ventilators. Two of them were given therapy on Tuesday said Arvind Kejriwal.
