24 Migrant Workers Got Killed After A Tragic Accident In UP:- 24 migrant workers who are returning back to their homes have been killed in a tragic accident after a mini-truck collided with a trolley lorry. The accident took place in Uttar Pradesh's Auraiya district during the early hours of today. The accident happened on the national highway at Mihauli in the circles of Kotwali police station limits. The trolley was carrying 81 migrant workers and it was on its way from Faridabad to Gorakhpur. Both these trucks were carrying laborers. Around 20 other people got severely injured in the accident. The incident took place between 3 and 3.30 AM.

The mini-truck was coming from Delhi and is on way to Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh. Both the vehicles turned upside after the accident took place. The rescue operations are currently on and the injured are rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath staged an inquiry on the accident and expressed his condolences over the incident. Several migrant workers are left without work and had no food after which they are heading back to their homes. Senior police officials reached the spot and are personally monitoring the rescue operations.
