New Guidelines To Be Followed In Tirumala Temple:- The Centre along with the state governments are announcing relaxations across the country. The lockdown got extended till May 31st and temples, schools, shopping malls, theatres and other public gatherings are prohibited till the completion of lockdown. The Tirumala Sri Venkateswara temple has been shut from the past couple of months. Daily pooja activities are happening and the temple is closed for public. The government of Andhra Pradesh is in plans to allow visitors and devotees into the temple soon and the arrangements are done. The Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD) made all the needed arrangements to follow all the needed guidelines.
Several changes are made in the queue lines in Tirumala temple. The thermal screening will be conducted for each and every devotee before they enter the line. The markings are done with red tape to follow the social distancing in the lines. Three feet distance is maintained between each red line. All those who are unwell and ill are asked not to visit Tirumala. Special health facilities are arranged a team of doctors, health officials will be available in the temple premises. All those who do not follow social distancing will be sent back informed TTD authorities.
Special teams of TTD will monitor the social distancing strictly. The TTD is also in plans to allow only two people per room in the cottages in and around Tirumala. A limited number of people will be allowed for darshan per hour which can help them follow all the needed guidelines. All the TTD employees and their families will be allowed for darshan in the first three days after the temple is open. For public, the darshan tickets will be available online. The locals along with the people from Tirupati, Chitoor and surrounding regions will be allowed for darshan in the first two weeks.
