BPCL Launches Gas Booking Through WhatsApp:- Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) announced a new initiative through which the customers can book cooking gas through WhatsApp across the country. BPCL has 71 million LPG customers and is the second-largest player. The customers of Bharat Gas, its LPG brand can book their cooking gas on Whatsapp said BPCL in a statement. A WhatsApp business channel has been introduced for the booking of a cylinder. WhatsApp booking can be done on BPCL Smartline number -- 1800 224 344 through the mobile number of the company.

An application has been launched by Marketing Director Arun Singh. BPCL felt that it would use more comfortable for the customers to book through WhatsApp. T Peethambaran, the executive director in-charge of LPG said that the customers would get a confirmation message through WhatsApp along with a link to make the online payment for the refill. Several payment modes like credit cards, debit cards, UPI and other payment modes are accepted. Other channels like IVRS, missed call apps and websites can be used along with other digital channels.
