Mad Rush For Free Tokens For Tirumala Darshan:- The whole country has been under lockdown from the past two months and the prestigious Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala was closed for the first time in the history for such a long time. The temple was open for the temple employees are locals from June 8th. The devotees are allowed for darshan starting from today. The free darshan ticket counters are opened from Wednesday. The TTD was in plans to offer 3000 tickets from the 24 counters per day initially. With the mad rush for tickets, TTD increased the number by 750 more. TTD will be issuing 3750 tokens for the devotees per day.

The free darshan tickets will be issued a day before the darshan. The three-day trial run has been successful in the Tirumala temple. The officials identified a couple of small flaws that will be rectified from today. Tirumala will have devotees from various parts of the country starting from today. Thermal screening arrangements are made in Alipiri. Special security is imposed and all those who are having tickets are allowed to enter into the premises of Tirumala. The officials also decided to conduct random coronavirus tests on the Tirumala hill starting from today.

The temple darshan will be available from 6.30 AM till 7.30 PM. The first hour in the morning is allocated for VIPs. TTD is in plans to increase the number of devotees slowly on a regular basis from next week. The total income generated through Hundi on Tuesday is said to be Rs 20.85 lakhs said TTD officials.
