AP Governor Addresses Assembly Through A Video Conference:- The budget sessions in the Assembly of Andhra Pradesh for the year 2020 started today. Andhra Pradesh Governor Bishwabhushan Harichandan started the session with his speech through a video conference which is the first time ever in India. Bishwabhushan Harichandan lauded the government of Andhra Pradesh and the Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy for implementing several welfare schemes from the past one year after YSRCP took charge. Bishwabhushan Harichandan said that the people of the state are extremely happy with the implementations. Bishwabhushan Harichandan said that the state's growth is at 8.16% in the financial year 2019-20. He said that the growth in the field of agriculture and others are said to be 8%.

Bishwabhushan Harichandan said that the industrial sector registered a growth rate of 5%. Bishwabhushan Harichandan addressed the MLAs from Raj Bhavan. He said that "AP government was successful in implementing all the promised schemes. The per capita income is up by 12% when compared to the last year. 77 guarantees have been fulfiled out of the 129 guarantees. 39 are under consideration and 40 that are not mentioned in the election manifesto are also implemented. Rs 3857 crores are spent under Jagananna Vasati Devena scheme which benefited many. Zero interest loan scheme for dwakra women, Rythu Bharosa scheme, YSR Vahana Mitra, YSR Matsyakarra Bharosa and others are successful".

Bishwabhushan Harichandan also lauded the measures that are taken by the government to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the state. He said around 15,000 tests of coronavirus are conducted in the state per day.
