China Confirms That The Commanding Officer Was Killed In Ladakh

China Confirms That The Commanding Officer Was Killed In Ladakh:- A Commanding officer from China was one of those who got killed in the June 15th battle between India and China. The incident took place in Ladakh's Galwan valley last week. India and China held Lieutenant General-level talks at Moldo today about the disengagement process which was stalled at the border. The talks have been stalled since 1967. The army sources said that 45 Chinese soldiers got killed or injured in the June 15th battle near the Galwan river which is 15,000 feet high in the Himalayas. As the incident did not want escalation because of which the Chinese government was not given about the number of casualties.

20 Indian army personnel got killed including Colonel B Santosh Babu who hails from Suryapet. 76 Indian soldiers are said to be injured and they are expected to join the duties very soon after they recover completely. The fight lasted for hours and Indian soldiers are said to be assaulted with crude, deadly weapons, rocks, clubs wrapped in wire. The military talks are going on from both the sides after this attack and Galwan. Ten Indian soldiers who are detained by China are released later.
