ED raids on Shravan Gupta on VVIP Chopper Scam:- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials along with the officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) are trying to find out who are involved in the Agusta Westland scam. The premises of realty firm MGF MD Shravan Gupta have been raided on Wednesday. The raids were focused on money trial as it was moved through several companies over a period. CBI is keen to file a charge sheet against several government officials and a middleman named Christian Michel who hails from Britan. CBI and ED officials are confident that there would be some more major developments in the coming months.
Shravan Gupta is under scanner for the appointment of Guido Haschke, another European middleman as the director of the company in 2009. Guido Haschke is one of the most wanted by the agencies and he is currently residing in Italy. Shravan Gupta was earlier questioned in 2016 in relation with the case. ED already filed 6 charge sheets in the case which is around 70 million euros in Agusta Westland scam. Christian Michel James and Guido Ralph Haschke are the middlemen and are most wanted. After the officials of CBI and ED got some leads, they raided the places of Shravan Gupta and few other people on Wednesday. Shravan Gupta will be called for questioning very soon.
