Coronavirus Cases In India Cross 5 Lakh Mark:- India is now at high risk with a huge rise in the number of coronavirus cases. The total number of cases in the country now reached 5,08,953. 384 people passed away in the country and 18,552 new cases are registered in India yesterday alone. The total number of coronavirus across the world stands at 97,78,674. There are 1,97,387 active cases in the country while 2,95,881 people recovered completely from coronavirus in India. Maharashtra alone registered more than 5000 cases in a day. Though the deaths are low and the recovery rate is good, the virus is fast spreading in the country.
After West Bengal, Jharkhand is the second state to impose a complete lockdown till July 31st. Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that they decided to implement lockdown considering the situations in the state. Maharasthra registered 1.52 lakh coronavirus cases along with 7106 deaths till yesterday. The number of deaths in the state saw a decline after early testing, oxygen-equipped beds and operations of private hospitals. Dr Soumya Swaminathan, chief scientist of the World Health Organisation said that the vaccine for coronavirus will be ready in 12-18 months.
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that the community transmission of coronavirus has begun as the coronavirus cases are registered across all the parts. Bengaluru too has been fastly getting infected when compared to the previous numbers. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that all the schools in Delhi will remain closed till July 31st. Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi and his wife are tested positive with coronavirus.
