One More Gas Leak In Visakhapatnam: Two Dead And Four Injured:- Before the people of Visakhapatnam could forget about the gas leak in LG Polymers which claimed 12 lives in RR Venkatapuram region, one more gas leak shattered the city. Two people got killed and four people got hospitalized after gas leaked last night in a pharmaceutical unit in Visakhapatnam. The unit was identified as Sainor Life Sciences and the situations are currently under control. The unit is located in Parwada region and was asked to shut down immediately after the gas leak.

The leakage of benzimidazole gas took place at 11.30 PM as per the officials. Two people who were working on the site were killed. The cops clarified that the gas was not leaked from the premises. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has sought information about the incident. The district collector ordered a detailed inquiry about the incident. The gas leaked from a reactor from a department and the unit members got alerted after which the gas leak was brought into control. The locals are left in panic but the officials clarified that the situation is very much under control.

The district collector V Vinay Chand and Police Commissioner RK Meena visited the premises of Sainor Life Sciences. The gas got leaked from a reactor unit in the plant which is yet to be established.
