48,500 New Cases of Coronavirus Registered in India:- India seems to be unstoppable with the spread of coronavirus. Over 45,000 new cases of coronavirus are registered in the country from the past ten days. A total number of 48,500 cases are registered yesterday in the country and the total tally reached 15,31,669. A total number of 34,193 people passed away in the country due to coronavirus pandemic till date. Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh are the worst-hit states and they witnessed a huge rise in the new cases in the past two weeks. Maharashtra continues to be on the top of the list with 3,91,440 cases and it is followed by Tamil Nadu with 2,27,688 cases and Delhi stands third with 1,32,275 cases.

768 people died in the last 24 hours because of coronavirus as per the reports from the Union Home Ministry. The recovery rate of coronavirus in the country stands at 64.5 percent. The active cases in the country stand at 5,09,447. 9,88,029 patients got cured from coronavirus and got discharged, said Union Home Ministry. The total number of coronavirus cases across the globe stands at 1.68 crores and the death toll stands at 6.58 lakhs. USA, Brazil and India are the most impacted countries in the world due to the coronavirus pandemic.
