Coronavirus Row: International Flights Suspended Till August 31st:- The government of India decided to extend the suspension of the international flights to August 31st 2020 considering the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. With the spread huge all over, the Centre decided to take a call about international flights only after August 31st. As per the travel bubbles, India started operating international flights to USA, France, Germany and will continue to run these services without any interruption. UK and Canada are the other countries who are in plans to operate international flights between them following all the norms.

DGCA said in a statement, "The Government has decided to extend the suspension on the Scheduled International Commercial Passenger Services to/from India up to 2359 hours IST of 31st August. However, this restriction shall not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved by DGCA". For the month of August, there are several international flights that would be operating to uplift the stranded passengers. Through Vande Bharat Mission, Air India uplifted 2,67,436 stranded Indians and other carries uplifted 4,86,811 passengers who are stranded in various parts of the globe.
