Atchannaidu Appointed as the TDP President for Andhra Pradesh:- Telugu Desam Party (TDP) which happens to be one of the leading parties of united Andhra Pradesh lost trace after the 2019 polls. TDP is vanished completely in Telangana after the bifurcation of the state and the crucial leaders moved to other parties. In Andhra Pradesh, TDP has been struggling and is waiting for a strong and young leadership. Most of the veteran leaders are idle currently and Chandra Babu is in plans to bring young leaders. TDP firebrand leader and former minister Atchannaidu is named as the President of Andhra Pradesh TDP. Chandra Babu felt that Atchannaidu is capable of bringing the party back to the track.

Atchannaidu has been fighting against the leading YSRCP about various scams in the state. Atchannaidu was arrested and he was out on bail in the ESI scam. Kala Venkat Rao has been working as the TDP President for Andhra Pradesh and now Atchannaidu replaced Kala Venkata Rao. Kala Venkat Rao decided to step down from the position after the party lost badly in the 2019 polls. Chandra Babu Naidu and the senior leaders have been discussing about an efficient leader and finalized Atchannaidu. TDP supported and backed Atchannaidu when he was arrested in the ESI scam. The BC leader will take charge soon and Chandra Babu, TDP leaders are quite confident on his efficiency.
