Hathras Gangrape Survivor Dies in Delhi Hospital:- A 19-year-old Dalit girl was gang-raped by four men and the girl has been battling for life in a Delhi hospital from the past two weeks. The girl died two weeks after she was gang-raped in Hathras district, Uttar Pradesh and the incident took place on September 14th. She has been shifted to a Delhi hospital when her health condition was quite critical. She is kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Aligarh JN Medical College Hospital. All the four accused in this case have been arrested recently by the Hathras police and are in police custody. Sandip, Ramu, Ravi and Lavkush are the names of the accused.
As per the statement from Vikrant Vir, the Superintendent of Police of Hathras district, the girl went to the fields along with her mother and she went missing. Soon her parents found her in critical condition. She was gang-raped and physically assaulted. There was a cut on her tongue and there was an attempt done to strangulate the young girl. All the four accused are booked under Section 307 of Indian Penal Code and 376 D. The case has been assigned to the fast track court and will come for investigation very soon. The opposition leaders slammed the government of Uttar Pradesh for the incident. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi slammed UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on women safety in the state.
