Coronavirus India Tally Stands At 66.2 Lakh Mark:- Today is the 196th day since India implemented lockdown across the country. With the restrictions lifted, the spread continued to be huge. The total tally of coronavirus cases in India stands at 66,23,815. The country registered 74,442 new cases of coronavirus in the country with 903 new deaths in the last 24 hours. The death tally in the country is said to be 1,02,685. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh are the states that registered a huge number of cases in the recent weeks. The recovery rate in the country is now at 84.3 percent. Globally, 3.5 crore people are impacted with coronavirus and 10.33 lakh people died till date.

Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said that the vaccination for coronavirus in India may arrive by July 2021. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that the total sample tests conducted till date are 7,99,82,394 and out of these 9,89,860 samples are tested yesterday. Maharashtra is on the top of the list with 14,43,409 cases and Andhra Pradesh stands second with 7,19,256 infections. The number of active cases in India are 9,34,427 and 55,86,703 people recovered completely from coronavirus. USA is the most impacted country with 74.08 lakh cases and is followed by India, Brazil, Russia and Columbia.
