Khushbu Sundar Joins BJP, Quits Congress:- Tamil actress and politician Khushbu Sundar happens to be a hardcore Congress supporter and leader. In a surprising move, the actress joined BJP today months before the Tamil Nadu polls. Khushbu Sundar sent her resignation letter to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and said that she feels suppressed and pushed at the party. Khushbu Sundar said that she always wanted to work sincerely for the party but she is pushed. She said that the people who have no connectivity have been dictating at the party.

Khushbu Sundar also said that she decided to end her association with the party after a long period of time. The Congress spokesperson said that Khushbu Sundar's exit would make no impact on the party and Tamil Nadu politics. She said that we need someone like Narendra Modi to lead the country in the right direction. For BJP, Khushbu Sundar is a huge boost and asset in the South. The party has been struggling to make an impact in the southern states. She has been working with Congress from 2014. Khushbu Sundar is expecting a prominent position in BJP for Tamil Nadu. The Assembly elections are scheduled to take place next year. Khushbu Sundar joined politics in 2010 and joined DMK after which she moved to Congress in 2014.
