Telangana Former Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy Is No More:- Former Telangana Home Minister and the Member of Legislative Council Nayani Narasimha Reddy passed away during the early hours of today in a private hospital in Hyderabad. He was tested positive with coronavirus and recovered completely. He was later admitted to the hospital due to health complications. Nayani Narasimha Reddy passed away at 12:25 AM and was admitted a week ago. Nayani Narasimha Reddy has been suffering from lung-related problems and is treated in Apollo Hospitals. Telangana politicians expressed their grief over the demise of Nayani Narasimha Reddy. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao recalled about his association with the veteran politician during the Telangana movement.

KCR and KTR met Nayani Narasimha Reddy recently in the hospital and inquired about his health. KCR asked the Chief Secretary to arrange the last rites with official honors. Mahmood Ali, Harish Rao, V Srinivas Goud, T Padma Rao Goud, S Niranjan Reddy paid their condolences for the departed leader. Nayani Narasimha Reddy is 76 years old and he held a key role in the Telangana movement and was the first Home Minister of the state between 2014 and 2018. Nayani Narasimha Reddy has been active in politics since 1969. He is known for his Telangana dialect and was a popular union leader.

Nayani Narasimha Reddy also played a key role in Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS). He was born in Neredugommu village in Devarakonda mandal of Nalgonda district. He worked as an MLA from Musheerabad Assembly constituency for three times in Hyderabad. He worked as a Technical Education Minister from 2005 to 2008. After the formation of Telangana state, he joined TRS and emerged as a crucial leader in the state. His six-year term as MLC got completed recently and he wanted KCR to renominate him again. Condolences poured in from all the corners. Rest in peace to one of the most powerful leaders of Telangana state.
