GHMC Polls to be held on December 1st:- The government of Telangana received a rude shock after BJP won in the recent Dubbaka byelections. The people across the limits of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) have been against the Telangana government after several colonies of the city submerged in the recent Hyderabad rains. With a huge negative wave against the Telangana government, they decided to push the polls to next year. The Telangana High Court issued an order to conduct the polls as per the plan. The Telangana State Election Commissioner Parthasarathy released the schedule of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections and they will take place on December 1st.
The nominations for the candidates will be accepted from tomorrow and the last day of filing the nominations will be November 20th. the counting will take place on December 4th. The scrutiny of the documents would be done on November 21st. The last day of the withdrawal of nominations is November 24th. All the TRS leaders and legislators are now completely focused on the GHMC polls as per the instructions from the Chief Minister KCR. BJP which emerged as a winner in the Dubbaka bypolls is in plans to contest in the polls. The display of the ward electoral rolls will be available from tomorrow. The Telangana State Election Commissioner Parthasarathy said that the elections would be held as per the legal acts and will have all the reservations.
