45,882 New Cases Of Coronavirus Reported In India:- The new tally of coronavirus cases in a day slipped down below the mark of 40,000 mark but the tally witnessed a small rise from the past couple of days. A total number of 45,882 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the past 24 hours and the total tally of cases in the country crossed the 90 lakh mark. The total cases stand at 90,04,365 in the country and the total number of active cases are said to be 4,43,794. The number of recoveries in the country are at 84,28,410 and 584 people passed away in the country in the last 24 hours. The total death toll mounted to 1,32,162. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total number of 12,95,91,786 samples have been tested for coronavirus till date with 10,83,397 samples being tested yesterday.
The number of new cases in a day remained below 50,000 mark for the 13th consecutive day in a row in India. Telangana reported 894 new cases yesterday and the total tally of cases reached 2.61 lakhs. The death toll reached 1423 in Telangana. The Telangana High Court directed the government to conduct more than 50,000 tests per day as the tests conducted in the state are quite less when compared to the other states. Andhra Pradesh reported 1316 new cases by last evening and the tally in the state is coming down slowly. Despite of the coronavirus second wave in the USA, the new President Joe Biden will not order a national shutdown in the country.
