YS Jagan Visits Abdul Salam's Family: Assures Support:- The family suicide of Abdul Salamin Nandyal created a sensation across Andhra Pradesh and created a lot of political stir. The Andhra Pradesh government was badly criticized by the opposition parties claiming the government responsible for the family's extreme step. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy today met the family members of Abdul Salam and assured support from the government. The victim's family members met YS Jagan at the APSP Guest House. He spoke to Salam's aunt Mabunnisa, Shamshawali and Shahida.

YS Jagan offered a job to Shahida under outsourcing and her son-in-law Shamshavali is promised to get a transfer from Anantapur to Nandyal. He will be transferred to the Nandyal Medical Health Department. The family members of Abdul Salam thanked AP Chief Minister for offering a support. YS Jagan ordered an immediate inquiry in the incident and the government offered an ex-gratia of Rs 25 lakhs to Salam's aunt. Nandyal CI Somasekhar Reddy along with a head constable has been suspended in relation to the case recently. A legal action has been initiated against them and the case is under investigation currently.
