GHMC Polls: TRS and BJP Heading for a Close Fight:- The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls raised the heat across Hyderabad. The leading TRS is in plans to retain the divisions while BJP emerged as a tough competitor in the polls. Things changed after the Dubbaka bypolls and BJP gained enough confidence. The leaders are campaigning across all the divisions aggressively. Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan asked all the party followers to support BJP and he is expected to campaign for a couple of days. The surveys in the GHMC polls predict that there would be a tough fight between TRS and BJP.
As per the survey from the Saaraansh Data Strategies conducted between November 19th and 23rd, TRS is expected to get 31.5 percent votes and BJP will be slightly ahead with 38.9 percent. AIMIM will get 11.5 percent votes. Congress, TDP and others will have to adjust with 6.7 percent, 2.1 percent and 9.3 percent votes respectively. The survey clearly indicates that BJP will lead the race though TRS is inching behind by a narrow margin. KCR wanted all the ministers and legislators to be present and campaign across all the divisions. He showered benefits for the people of the state ahead of the polls.
The party manifesto clearly indicates that TRS lacks confidence on retaining their positions in GHMC. BJP turned out to be a sudden surprise in the polls. The elections will commence on December 1st and the results would be out on December 4th. The GHMC polls made it to the headlines because of the neck to neck fight between TRS and BJP.
