KCR Allocates Rs 10,000 Cr Budget per year for Hyderabad Drainage Development:- The recent floods in Hyderabad left an unforgettable mark on the state. The government of Telangana was badly criticized and KCR announced an interim relief of Rs 550 crores for the people who battled with floods. Several colonies are submerged for days. KCR ahead of the GHMC polls announced several benefits for the people of Telangana and GHMC. He spoke at a massive political meeting this evening in LB Stadium, Hyderabad and announced Rs 10,000 crores from the state budget every year for the drainage system of Hyderabad. He said that the problem will not be resolved soon as there are a lot of issues.

During his speech, he slammed the Centre and the BJP leaders who ignored the state after the floods. "Each and every BJP leader is now visiting Telangana who did not look at us after the floods. They are so much worried about KCR. Are these municipal polls or national elections? We requested aid of Rs 1300 crores and we did not get at least 13 paisa. We will continue the flood relief fund of Rs 10,000 per home from December 7th which was put on hold due to the GHMC polls. If TRS wins in the GHMC polls, the government would support Hyderabad in all the available ways. We are in plans to expand the Hyderabad Metro. We are also supporting electric vehicles to curb pollution in the city" told KCR in his speech.
