US FDA Approves Pfizer Coronavirus Vaccine:- Here comes a breaking news that says that Pfizer Inc got the emergency authorization in USA for the coronavirus vaccine. This becomes the first shot that will be given for Americans considering the current hospitalization, deaths and the number of cases. The Food and Drug Administration authorized the usage of Pfizer and partner BioNTech SE's vaccine today. USA is the latest country to authorize Pfizer BioNTech vaccine and UK, Europe already approved it. The vaccination would be given to healthcare workers this week and will be given to older people on a priority basis.

The FDA has been facing the pressure from the White House for the past few weeks for quick authorization of the vaccination. Marion Gruber, director of the FDA’s Office of Vaccines Research and Review told the advisory panel that FDA sought more information about the reactions from the regulators in the United Kingdom. Pfizer's vaccine is similar to the one from Moderna Inc which can gain clearance next week and uses a technology called messenger RNA. Pfizer vaccine showed 95 percent effectiveness and is given for 44,000 people in USA. It is said to have protected people of all the ages.
