Why did Rajinikanth Quit his Political Plans?:- Superstar Rajinikanth announced to quit politics even before his entry. This shocking decision left his fans badly hurt. Rajinikanth cited health issues as the reason to take a U-Turn on his political debut. Rajinikanth had fluctuating blood pressure and he was admitted in Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad and was discharged after two days. He took off a special chartered flight to Chennai and is on strict bed rest for a week. Rajinikanth told that it was a message from God that alerted him to quit his political plans. Lakhs of his fans are disappointed along with BJP which has been keen to convince Rajinikanth and ink an alliance with the veteran actor after his debut into Tamil Nadu politics.

There are strong speculations that Rajinikanth collected the feedback and a survey has been conducted across Tamil Nadu. The survey results are not satisfying after which Rajinikanth decided to quit his political plans. Rajinikanth had plans to make the big announcement on December 31st and launch his party on January 17th. BJP wanted to build an anti-Dravidian front in the state and they felt that it would be possible through Rajinikanth. Kamal Haasan said that he was disappointed with the decision made by Rajinikanth. The leading political parties are quite relaxed with the decision of Rajinikanth. The top actor will continue his career in films and he will resume the shoot of his next film Annaatthe from the last week of January 2021.
