YS Jagan Lays Foundation Stone For 9 Temples Reconstruction:- Andhra Pradesh government is badly targeted after a series of attacks on the Hindu temples across the state. The opposition parties cornered the government and blamed about the increasing cases of conversion to Christianity. TDP, BJP and Janasena leaders staged a massive protest after a 400-year-old Lord Rama idol got vandalized in Ramatheertham, Vizianagaram district. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy staged a counterattack and announced the reconstruction of the temples that are damaged in the state. He even announced that a budget would be allocated for the reconstruction.

YS Jagan laid a foundation stone for the reconstruction of nine Hindu temples today which are demolished during the previous TDP's regime. The official statement said "The Chief Minister on Friday laid the foundation stone at Seethamma Paadalu on the banks of river Krishna for the reconstruction of nine temples that were demolished by the previous TDP government". YS Jagan also laid the foundation stone for eight other development works at Kanaka Durga temple, Vijayawada which are estimated at Rs 77 crores. YS Jagan soon offered prayers at the Kanaka Durga temple after completing all the formalities.
