Sasikala rushed to a Bengaluru Hospital:- VK Sasikala, the close aide of Tamil Nadu ex-Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has been released from a Bengaluru prison recently. After a week left for her release, she complained of fever and breathlessness and Sasikala was rushed to a hospital in Bengaluru. She is admitted in Bowring and Lady Curzon government hospital in the city from the central prison today. Sasikala was arrested in 2017 after the Supreme Court announced her as the accused in the disproportionate assets case which was pending from the past two decades. Sasikala has been serving jail term for four years now.

She also has paid a fine of Rs 10 crores and Sasikala is all set to get released on January 27th. The Bengaluru prison authorities and her lawyer Raja Senthoor Pandian confirmed the date of her release. Sasikala is suffering with fever from the past one week and the prison doctors treated her. Her oxygen levels are said to be quite low today and she complained of breathlessness after which Sasikala was rushed to the hospital today. The doctors haven't confirmed if Sasikala is tested positive for coronavirus. The tests are conducted currently. Sasikala will be released from the Bengaluru prison on January 27th at 10 AM.
