Chandrababu Naidu Detained At Tirupati Airport:- TDP Supremo and ex-Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been detained in the Renigunta Airport, Tirupati today while he was on his way for the election campaign. The cops denied him permission to participate in the election events after there are discrepancies in the permissions that are acquired by Chandrababu Naidu from the State Election Commission. Chandrababu Naidu had a heated argument with the cops in the Tirupati airport and he decided to protest against their actions. Chandrababu Naidu staged a sit-in protest on the floor of the airport. Chandrababu Naidu even posted the video on his official social media page.

After protesting for 45 minutes, Chandrababu Naidu decided to head back. The Tirupati cops served notices to Chandrababu Naidu and detained him. The cops also cited coronavirus risk a reason for Chandrababu Naidu's detention. The cops told that there is a second wave of coronavirus and it is due to it, Chandrababu Naidu was restricted and not allowed. "Because Police Act 30 and the model code of conduct are in vogue and in our sincere efforts to ensure a free and fair poll process, we are forced to detain you," told the statement released by Renigunta police to Chandrababu Naidu.

Babu slammed the cops stating that he is the former Chief Minister and the leader of the major opposition party in Andhra Pradesh. Naidu asked the cops to let him meet the district Collector of Chittoor district and Tirupati SP to get a clarification on the issue.
