15,824 new coronavirus cases reported in Andhra Pradesh:- Out of the 72,979 samples tested in Andhra Pradesh in the past one, there are 15,284 new positive cases reported in Andhra Pradesh. The total tally of cases reported are at 16,06,210 and the total number of discharges stands at 13,97,859. With 106 new deaths reported in the state, the total death tally in the state reached 10,328. There are 1,98,023 active cases for coronavirus in the state. There are 20,917 recoveries reported in Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours and the total number of samples tested in the state till yesterday are 1,87,49,201.

Anantapur, Chittoor, East Godavari, Kurnool, Visakhapatnam and West Godavari districts reported high number of cases in Andhra Pradesh. The tally of cases crossed 25,000 mark and it came down in the recent week after lockdown is imposed in the state from 12 PM to 6 AM on a regular basis. The state borders too are closed during the lockdown time. A total number of 1,96,427 new cases for coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours. 3,26,850 people got discharged in the last 24 hours as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. 3511 people passed away in the last 24 hours taking the total tally of deaths reach 3,07,231.
