42,766 New Coronavirus Cases Reported In India:- A total number of 42,766 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours and the total tally reached 3,07,95,716. As per the reports from the Union Health Ministry, the number of recoveries in the last 24 hours are said to be 45,254 and the total number of recoveries in the country are said to be 2,99,33,538. 1206 new deaths are reported and the total death tally is now at 4,07,145. The total number of active cases for coronavirus in India are said to be 4,55,033. Kerala is the top contributor of the new cases and 13,563 new cases are reported yesterday and Maharashtra stands second with 8992 new cases. The national recovery rate is at 97.20 percent.

The total number of active cases are 1.48 percent of the total infections reported in India as per the Union Health Ministry. The Indian tally of cases is rock steady and is at 40,000 mark on a daily basis. The WHO warned that the cases are increasing due to the slow pace of the vaccination and the countries lifting lockdown restrictions. The Centre announced that more than 38.54 crore doses of coronavirus vaccines are administered to the states and the union territories and there are 1.73 crore doses available with them. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total number of samples tested in India on July 9th are said to be 19,55,225 and the samples tested in total are said to be 42,90,41,970.
