Three New Drugs Considered To Treat Coronavirus:- The World Health Organization (WHO) revealed that it is testing three drugs that are used for other diseases to find if they can treat the patients who are contracted with coronavirus. The WHO issued a statement on Wednesday informing about the three drugs that will be adopted in the next phase as the research is going on. All these drugs were chosen by an independent panel after they predicted that these drugs can prevent the death among the people who are tested for coronavirus and got hospitalized. The drugs include Artestunate (malaria drug), Imatinib (Cancer drug) and Infliximab (treated for immune system).

The agency also revealed that Remdesivir and Hydroxychloroquine could not help the people who are hospitalized. Thousands of researchers conducted the research across thousands of hospitals in 52 countries. For those who are vaccinated, there is less probability of getting hospitalized or health conditions turned critical. But for those who are tested positive and getting admitted to hospital, the world needs to find a drug which is now a critical need told WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. The global tally of coronavirus is now at 20,55,42,849 and 43,37,580 people passed away across the globe. A total number of 18,45,45,349 people recovered completely from coronavirus.
