37,593 New Coronavirus Cases Reported In India:- A total number of 37,593 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours and the total number of cases reached 3,25,12,366. 34,169 people recovered in the last 24 hours in India and the total recoveries in India climbed to 3,17,54,281. With 648 deaths in the country in the last 24 hours, the total death toll reached 4,35,758. There are 3,22,327 active cases and the number of active cases dipped down in the recent weeks. The total number of vaccinations administered in India reached 59,55,04,593 and 61,90,930 people took the vaccination dose in the country.
Kerala continues to report a high number of cases and 24,296 people were tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours and 173 deaths are reported in the last 24 hours. India witnessed a jump in the new cases by 12,000 in just a day. The active cases comprise of 0.99 percent of the total infections. The national coronavirus recovery rate reached 97.67 percent in India. 16 out of the 78 Indians who are evacuated from Afghanistan are tested positive for coronavirus. All the 78 Indians have been quarantined. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples that are tested on August 24th are said to be 17,92,755 and the samples tested in total are said to be 51,11,84,547.
