Heavy Rains Lash Hyderabad Once Again:- Several residents of Hyderabad are left in a state of shock las year after their colonies are water logged for a week. The government of Telangana was targeted and the state government allocated special budget for Hyderabad to tackle heavy rains. Heavy rains lashed Hyderabad once again and the citizens from Hyderabad are asked to stay indoors. The GHMC's Enforcement Vigilance and Disaster Management team carried out the rescue operations and no casualties are reported. The heavy rain started at 7 PM all over Hyderabad and left the city in waterlogging in most of the regions. The traffic is disrupted. Balangar reported 68.8 mm rainfall and Jubilee Hills reported 66.8mm rainfall. Yousufguda reported 64 mm rainfall and Srinagar Colony had 58.8 mm rainfall.
The regions of Shaikpet reported 101 mm and Kukatpally received 98.3 mm rainfall last night. Serilingampally, Saroornagar, Khairatabad, Qutbullapur also received heavy rainfall. Several videos are shared on social media about the recent lash and they went viral all over. Hyderabad is expected to receive heavy rainfall for the next three days as per the early predictions and it is due to the low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal and the depression will get intensified. Apart from Hyderabad, several districts of Telangana too received heavy rainfall last night. They are expected to receive heavy rainfall in the next three days.
