90 percent spike in coronavirus cases in India:- A total number of 2183 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours and the total tally reached 4,30,44,280. The total number of active cases have seen a decline and stands at 11,542 as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. 214 new deaths are reported in the country in the last 24 hours and the total death tally climbed to 5,21,965. This is a huge jump in the new cases of coronavirus in the country. The active cases comprise of 0.03 percent of the total infections and the recovery rate stands at 98.76 percent. The total number of people who recovered from coronavirus are said to be 4,25,10,773. The total number of vaccination doses administered in the country climbed to 186.54 crores.

There is a sudden rise in the new cases in New Delhi and Kerala in the past two days. 1150 infections have been reported in India yesterday and they are doubled today. The deaths too have seen a sudden rise in India. 62 deaths are reported in Keala alone which is alarming. A total number of 83.21 crore tests are conducted in total in India till date and 2,61,440 tests are conducted yesterday. Delhi reported 517 new cases yesterday and the situation is alarming. The experts and health officials are urging the people to wear facemasks when they are in public places.
