Elon Musk will have tough challenges from China and India:- Elon Musk will soon take over Twitter and there are a lot of discussions about how he would lead the social media platform. Asia has been the home for Twitter's biggest growth opportunity. Elon Musk will face the biggest headache ahead through India and China. As per the annual report, there are 179 million users across the globe and 38 million are in USA as per 2021. JJ Rose, a contributor to Australia's nonpartisan Lowy Institute think tank said that Asia has a lot of potential to break or make the new Twitter. The social media platform is banned in China but there would be a demand for the attention of Elon Musk. "Did the Chinese government just gain a bit of leverage over the town square?" questioned Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

China is important for Tesla and it happens to be a key source for the wealth of Elon Musk. There is no clarity for now about how Musk will deal Twitter in China. The country used anonymous accounts to distribute the messages of the government and it was then Twitter removed 1,70,000 accounts in 2020. India has huge market for Twitter with more than a half a billion internet users. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a regular user of Twitter and he has 78 million followers to his name. But the Indian government wanted more control on Twitter. Modi's administration wanted Twitter to take down critical posts and Twitter refused to do so.

Later the Indian government wanted Twitter to appoint a Grievance officer to match the laws of the country. Now, Elon Musk will have tough challenges from China and India.
