MLC Anantha Babu sent for 14 days Custodial Remand:- YSRCP MLC Anantha Uday Bhaskar who is popularly called Anantha Babu has been named as the main accused in the murder case of his former driver Subramanyam. Anantha Babu confessed that he killed his former driver over a dispute. The autopsy report revealed that Subramanyam was brutally killed. The court sent Anantha Babu for 14 days of custody and he was shifted to Rajahmundry Central Jail. He was produced before the court and the court ordered remand for Anantha Babu till June 6th. All the technical evidence, oral evidence and the forensic evidence are collected. A case has been registered under Section 302, SC, ST Atrocity of IPC against Anantha Babu.

There are strong speculations that Anantha Babu has been involved in illegal trafficking, mining and the production of Ganja in the forests of East godavari district. Anantha Babu dominated the leaders and officials in his region after the government named Anantha Babu as MLC. There are talks that Anantha Babu produced fake documents and named himself as SC from the community of Konda Kapu. MLA Nagulapalli Dhanalakshmi left YSRCP after her differences with Anantha Babu. The officials are made to wait till Anantha Babu arrives for any public meeting or any political meeting.

Anantha Babu's father Anantha Chakrarao was killed by the naxalites for his acts against the people residing in the villages of the forests. The Naxalites even warned Anantha Babu when he worked as ZPTC member. There are talks that his political career came to an end with the murder of his former driver.
