After 21 long years, TRS is all set to lose its name:- The whole state of Telangana is well aware about the tiff between Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It all started after Narendra Modi ignored the request of KCR for farmers over the minimum price for the paddy. KCR also wanted to make his impact in national politics and he has been doing enough ground work for the same. There are strong reports that the new party will be named Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS). After 21 long years, TRS is all set to lose its name and it would be renamed as BRS. The discussions with the leaders, supporters and political analysts have been happening for the past few days.

BRS has three names considered: Bharatiya Rashtra Samiti, Bharat Rashtriya Samiti and Bharat Rashtra Samiti. One among them will be finalized this weekend and the announcement would be made soon. There are talks that the party flag too will have several changes done. The Telangana map would be replaced with an Indian flag. The party's state executive meeting will take place on June 21st or 22nd and a resolution will be passed for the name change. TRS will now have a pan-Indian appeal told the party leaders. BRS will have a crucial role in the national politics. After the resolution is passed, it would be sent for the approval of the Election Commission. The legal formalities too are expected to be completed soon. The car symbol will continue for now.

For contesting in the elections in other states, the party will have to seek the permission from the Election Commission of India.
