Sonia Gandhi Vs Smriti Irani In Parliament:- A dramatic incident took place in the Parliament house today over Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury calling Indian President Droupadi Murmu as 'Rashtrapatni'. Congress President and Chief Sonia Gandhi rebuffed Union Minister Smriti Irani while she was walking across the house to speak to a BJP MP. After this Smirit Irani tried to talk and Sonia Gandhi just said 'Don't talk to me'. The video of the incident went viral across the social media circles. The Congress leaders along with the opposition parties have accused Smriti Irani and BJP MPs for targeting Sonia Gandhi.
The incident took place after Lok Sabha was adjourned because of the protests made by BJP MPs against Sonia Gandhi and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury. They wanted the Congress MPs to apologize. BJP MPs protested using placards. "Sonia Gandhi, you sanctioned the humiliation of Droupadi Murmu. Sonia ji sanctioned humiliation of a woman in the highest constitutional post," told Smirit Irani in the house. Sonia Gandhi said that Adhir Ranjan Chowdhyary already apologized and there is no fault found from her side. Then Smriti Irani said "Madam, may I help you? I took your name". Sonia Gandhi replied saying "Don't talk to me".
