Heavy Rains In Hyderabad For The Next Three Days:- Telangana and its capital Hyderabad are stormed with heavy rains over the past few weeks. The levels of water in the rivers, dams and water bodies have reached an alarming level. Hyderabad is hit heavily with rains yesterday and today and there is huge waterlogging in most of the low-lying regions. The GHMC officials are working to clear the water that is stagnated on the roads. The Weather Department predicted heavy rains for the next three days for the Telangana capital. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad posted a yellow warning from today for three days for several districts of Telangana.
The forecast of Telangana State Development Planning Society told that most of the regions in Hyderabad will receive rainfall and it would be between 15.6 mm and 64.5 mm. Khairtabad, Amberpet, Begumpet, and Musarambagh are expected to witness heavy rains between 64.5 mm and 115.6 mm. Hyderabad Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi instructed the officials of GHMC to take all the steps so that the citizens would not face any hardships. She spoke to all the zonal commissioners and conducted a review meeting to discuss about the issues ahead of the heavy rains. The GHMC officials are asked to take care of the water stagnation, and remove the garbage from the manholes and the nalas.
